I have used the Howard's Forum solution for internet PC tethering however about 2 days after making the changes whenever I just want to surf the net on my BJ II I now get a 403 Access Forbidden error msg. If I power the phone off and turn it on it allows me to surf for about 1 to 2 days before giving me that error again. When I called AT$T they had me change some settings and that fixed the problem but broke my tethering capability. I reinstalled the Howard's Forum solution and got tethering back but now again have the 403 problem again. Any help would be apprciated.
Wow, Bruno - that's awful! A real Touch Diamond would have been nice, heh, but a fake one?! Especially when you're actually expecting the BB Storm! Though, from what I'm hearing, the Storm isn't the greatest device. But I haven't seen it myself so I can't say for sure. What did you end up doing with the fake phone? How much did you pay? I'm sorry you had such a rough time - I feel for ya!

Couldn't send emails any more no matter what I tried so I downloaded and installed the patch. So far: I lost all of my email accounts; tried to set them up again, but when I used the same name for the account, I got stopped by an alert that said that name was already being used by another account; I picked a new name for the account and completed the setup, after I hit finish, it jumped to the Outlook account that had previously existed and the new account was not listed under mail accounts; tried this a couple of times; Did a hard reset, erasing all of my data, which isn't a big deal I have had to do hard resets so often lately there isn't much there; After the reboot, I set up the accounts successfully, the device randomly powers off; It is now frozen with a solid green colored screen, which I can do nothing about, it won't even turn off, I am on hold now with my provider's tech support. This is my experience so far with the Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade and the SMTP patch Dan
