Take Control over Wireless Data Spending with Spb Wireless Monitor 3.0
St. Petersburg, November 18th, 2008 - Spb Software releases Spb Wireless Monitor 3.0 - a powerful software solution that offers full control over all types of smartphone data connections by monitoring them in accordance with configurable tariffs and data plans, and providing per application data traffic reports. First brought to market in 2002, Spb Wireless Monitor, formerly known as Spb GPRS Monitor, accounts for the lack of a built-in data tracking tool in Windows Mobile devices. A four-time prize winner in the Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine’s Best Software Awards, shipped in over a dozen devices by ASUS, HTC, O2, Samsung, and T-Mobile, the Spb Wireless Monitor has over 3,000,000 loyal customers worldwide. The new name of version 3.0 comes with massive enhancements in features and abilities.

PhoneArena got their hands on an HTC Touch HD and it looks amazing. I also love it when websites get their hands on a device and they take the time to take really quality photographs. This is phone pr0n at its best.
The HTC Touch HD is packing great high resolution video that’s displayed on a nice big 3.8 inch screen. With Windows Mobile 6.1, TouchFLO 3D, Wi-Fi and the quality touch screen, this is surely to be the ultimate WinMo flagship device.

Some leaked photos today seem to show (what rumour has it to be) a rival to Samsung’s Omnia: Asus‘ new Glaxy7.
From looking at the photos, it’s reasonably apparent that this device will be touchscreen only. It also looks to have a 5 MP camera, front camera and a main touchpad/trackball controller.
The rumoured specs seem to be pretty standard: 3.5 inch screen, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro running Glide 1.5 UI, 3G, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, and 4GB of on-board memory. No word on pricing or release dates yet but stay tuned!

What was previously thought to be the Motorola Q9h in boring gray flashy silver has apparently turned out to be a ‘new’ device from Motorola called the Q Global. I’m hard pressed to find any differences between the Q Global and the Q9h aside from the on-board GPS that now has access to AT&T Navigator which, to be fair, is pretty cool. It comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 installed but as of recently, the Q9h has 6.1 as a free download as well. Still no WiFi which breaks the deal for many, including myself.
Personally, I wasn’t sold on the first one (sure, it looks like a down-to-business phone, but functionally it’s just a standard WinMo phone dressed up like a BlackBerry without all the bells and whistles) and I’m not convinced that this new Q Global is any more appealing. Let me go out on a socially dangerous limb and say that if I were in the market for a phone like this, I’d much rather a BlackBerry Bold. Hands down.
I know there are many, many fans out there of the Q9h - what do you think of this ‘new’ device from Motorola?

It doesn’t seem like the best weekend to do it but HP has decided to launch their iPAQ 910 Business Messenger… for the ridiculous price on $499.99 at their online store. Do you disagree with me? I’d love to hear why this device is worth the hefty price tag. Leave me a comment!

What was once thought to be the Palm Treo 850 is now emerging as the Treo Pro, Palm’s new industrial design, sleek black handheld.

What you’re looking at here, courtesy of BGR, is what we all hope to be a leaked picture of Motorola’s new iPhone 3G killer. I personally have a hard time calling anything Motorola has to offer an iPhone 3G killer, but hey - there are lots of Motorola fans out there, right? I do have to admit, it looks pretty cool or at least its alleged specs look cool: Quad-band GSM/GPRS/Edge connectivity and support for 3G HSDPA connections up to 7.2Mb/s, and apparently - 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, a Qualcomm 7210A chipset, and Windows Mobile 6.1, naturally. Also true to iPhone, it doesn’t seem to have a keyboard. Even through we can’t really make out an on-board camera from this shot, it doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Let’s hope so. In fact, let’s hope it has a crazy 8 mega pixel camera in it like earlier this year’s leaked Motorola device ‘Alexander’. I’m really lovin’ the conqueror theme, it totally excites the history nerd in me. Go get ‘em, Attila!

RSSDefinitely a great phone. With the 8gb memory card and divx player, you can get full movies on the phone! Not to mention the camera, phwoar!
thanks guys, i was able to get the internet sharing working on my fuze, by following your advice.. it was a little tricky at first but once i got commander on my device it was easy. thanks again!!!!!!!!
I've seen a big difference in the high pixel density of the Fuze when I have web pages loaded through Opera at a lower zoom level. The fine print that might otherwise be unreadable is sharp.
When's the planned date for this? I have to say, I'll believe it when I see it.
My T-Mobile buddy that is a devoted HTC fan and sold on WinMo wouldn't touch that thing with a 10 foot pole. I guess he has Shadow bitterness issues.
