Samsung has launched its latest enterprise smartphone brand BizBee. The brand is targeted at executives who need total mobile access at all times. This target market requires all-in-one connectivity, email and applications, a QWERTY keyboard and increased business productivity. The above pic exemplifies the type of market they are trying to target.
The first smartphone in the BizBee series is the Samsung SGH-i780. This phone is going to keep executives connected with tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz), WCDMA on the 2100MHz band, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and a miniUSB port. The phone will also appeal to enterprise with a 65k color TFT touchscreen with a 320×320 pixel resolution, handy for document editing.
The first print ads are scheduled to run in 10 European countries in November/December 2008.
First user manuals and full spec sheets, now official press releases - Verizon Wireless‘ Samsung Omnia is getting a lot of time in the spotlight this week!
I know plenty of you were less-than-impressed with the news of a new version of Internet Explorer Mobile (6), but it’s worth reporting that as per ZDNet’s announcement, it looks like China will be the first to put Mobile IE 6 onto a Windows Mobile device. Specifically, it will be the Chinese version of the Samsung Omnia to take the first hit get the first native install. Who’s next?
Alright Verizon Wireless customers, put down the new BlackBerry Storm and hear me out, okay? And, while the real specs are still a mystery, we’re still talking about a 5MP camera/camcorder, full HTML browsing, and an expansive touchscreen.
While the Verizon page is linked to by Samsung’s website, the Verizon page itself doesn’t exist… yet. But it will. Oh yes, it will.
Motorola’s co-Chief Executive Sanjay Jha has been tasked with reviving Motorola’s sales after a serious loss of market share to its competitors Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
“One of the worst things is if you go to a company and things are not well but there’s not a sense of crisis. That’s not the case here,” he said Thursday. “People understand that changes need to occur and are very open to changes.” Click through to read how Motorola plans on revitalizing its business
The program works with the Samsung Omnia and HTC Touch Diamond GSensor to set off the “Jump” or “Coin” 8-bit Mario game sounds when you jump in real life.
The file includes the theme song to Super Mario Bros too so you can set it as your ringtone!
The folks at pocketnow have just posted a video of their unboxing of the new and awesome LG Incite.
The LG Incite, as mentioned before, packs a 3″, wide QVGA resolution screen, an accelerometer for automatic screen rotation, and of course, HSDPA, FM Radio, WiFi, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and all that. Strangely enough, like the HTC Touch HD, the Incite has no D-Pad, but a scrolling wheel on the side. I’m not sure how I feel about that, personally, but the folks at pocketnow find it to be a welcome addition.
As we all know, the Samsung Saga is soon to hit Verizon Wireless stores. In fact, it’ll be in stores and ready to go home with you on December 1st.
But have you noticed… how blue this handset is? I know, I know - is this really news worthy? Well, no. But I had to draw attention to it again, just in case you had missed this. Now, I’m more of a purist — handsets should come in straight black or hot pink (I’m still a girl, alright?) But I have to say, this looks fairly sweet! Is this why our readers want this phone so badly? Cause I’ll grant you that one. I mean, if the HTC Touch Pro came in hot pink…
Two awesome hacks from XDA-Developers in one day! Woo hoo!
This time one that allows you to ‘enable’ (read: re-enable) Internet Sharing on your HTC Touch Diamond, Sprint Touch Pro, AT&T Fuze (Touch Pro) and the Samsung Epix!
Now, this is a registry key edit so use at your own risk as we’re never 100% sure of how these things will turn out sometimes.. but if you’re desperate for Internet Sharing (or brave and up for a challenge) try out this trick…
phoneArena has just let me in on some late-breaking news given to them by an anonymous tipster about the HTC Touch Pro, Saga (CDMA version of the Epix), and Renown.
Looks like the Samsung Saga I770 (CDMA version of the Epix) can be ordered via the Internet and Telesales on Nov 14th for $199 with a 2-year contract (after $70 rebate). It features Dual-band CDMA, EVDO Rev A, Quad-band GSM, WiFi 802.11g/b, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, Office, Opera and IE Mobile, Bluetooth, 2.55″ 320×320 pixel display, 2MP camera, microSDHC support up to 16GB, and comes with a SIM card pre-installed. Included in the box are adapters for use with the wall charger in other countries. Hint hint.

Booo! That's awful. Curious though, which do you prefer - the Epix or the Fuse? I'd love to know what you like about each.
