We’ve reported on these rumours a few times, but I’d love to hear what you think!

Robert Scoble has been in the business for a long time and whether or not you think he’s the tech demi-god that others claim him to be, he still has experience worth noting. That experience is telling him that Microsoft will be able to survive the credit crunch and coming recession.
Why is that? Well he points to a few reasons:
Azure will be a healthy competitor with Amazon’s S3 and Rackspace’s Mosso
Windows 7 is getting blogging praise
Web-based Office is an efficient collaboration tool
He also provides a long list of impressive qualities that Microsoft as a corporation retains that will help it in the coming years. So I’m hoping Scoble is right and we’ll see new versions of Windows Mobile coming out during these uncertain economic times.

Matthew Miller’s ZDnet Blog features a very interesting post today about his unabashed love for the Windows Mobile operating system.
I don’t see a lot of people standing up and saying they prefer and like using Windows Mobile, but I know there are lots of people out there that do enjoy using this platform and I am one of them. I have read many comments online recently where people are trying to figure out if they want an iPhone or a new BlackBerry, but rarely hear that they are even considering a new Windows Mobile device… If you just look at the specs, Windows Mobile may be considered the most powerful and functional platform out there…
Check out Miller’s article for yourself and, as pocketnow urges, don’t be ashamed of your love of your Windows Mobile device!

Ted Rogers, Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Communications Inc., has has been warning his top executives for months now that “bad times are coming”, telling them to pull back on costly acquisitions and start raising capital for wireless, cable and media wells run dry.
The stock market appears to be on shaky ground these days and, as Rogers said yesterday in a speech in Toronto, the markets are headed for a reckoning that will take a heavy toll.
You may well find out very soon which companies are best prepared to withstand the challenges ahead…For the past 18 to 20 months, I’ve been saying bad times are coming, batten down the hatches, raise as much money as you can. Don’t buy any stupid acquisitions just because it looks good.
For the entire article, check out “Rogers braced to weather the storm” in today’s Globe Investor.

The HTC Touch HD is a real dreamboat of a phone, in my opinion, featuring a Qualcomm CPU at 528 MHz (it also supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA up to 7.2 Mbps). It also packs WiFi (b/g), Bluetooth 2.0, GPS/aGPS, an FM radio, and a big 3.8″ screen which supports an impressive WVGA resolution at 800 x 480 pixel.
Recently unwired::view posted a video showing off some of the cool features of the HTC Touch HD and here are some awesome things that we’ve learned about the handset from watching this video:
Five features of the HTC Touch HD that you may have missed

According to DigiTimes, the next big move in the mobile world is towards improving the user interface experience, making it more touch-friendly. And, of course, the two biggest contenders in this race for improvement are HTC and Asustek, with their upcoming Touch HD and Galaxy 7 devices, respectively. Both offer consumers high-quality mobile multimedia and internet experiences: 5.0MP cameras, WiFi, AGPS, and 3.5G support.
What do you think? Next big mobile trend: improved UI/more touch-friendly? Better cameras? Higher quality video? What direction do you think upcoming handsets are taking?

The browser does hiccup a bit from time to time on my device but I would put the blame squarely on my device in that case (it's geriatric, heh). I'm a big fan of the browser, even besides flash and all that. It's got a really useful home screen, a great bookmarking layout, and the zoom and view functions are the best I've seen.
Actaully i was looking for sharing the Internet on my laptop to be used on my mobile. I'm using O2 XDA atom life.
