If you’re like me, you use your phone for all kinds of things besides making phone calls. I watch videos, play games, surf the web, and listen to music almost constantly! So here are a few of my personal favourite audio and video applications. They are in no particular order as it’s difficult to pick and choose between them - they’re all very cool and useful in their own ways. So have a look through and grab a few and let me know what you think!
1. GSPlayer - An awesome, simple-to-use audio player with support for SHOUTcast streaming playback. Other features include MP3, Ogg Vorbis, wav format playback, 10 bands equalizer, PLS/M3U playlist support, Surround / Bassboost effects, Reverb / Echo effects, Noiseless playback.
2. PocketTV - PocketTV is a MPEG Movie Player and VCD Player for Windows Mobile. PocketTV takes full advantage of all the features of Windows Mobile 6 and 5 Professional, Standard and Classic devices, such as Landscape display, soft-keys, on-the-fly display rotation, VGA resolution, 800×480 wide-screens, etc.
3. Adobe Flash Player - This does exactly what you think it does: It enables you to view Flash content on the phone!
4. Divx Player - Allows playback of DivX coded videos. DivX Mobile Player will try to play any video on any device, but playback performance will, of course, depend on the phone’s processor speed.
5. PocketDivXEncoder - Allows you to encode any video clip with optimized parameters for handled devices (landscape mode, 240×320, low CPU usage, increased brightness, etc).
